   I offer In-home European & ethnic gourmet meals that are available for anyone whose schedule is too full to cook or go to a restaurant. I can prepare gourmet meals you can enjoy at your convenience, or I can pamper you & your guests with a personalized multi-course meal served in your home, at your table.   

A little about me...

   My name is Dominique Joha. I was born and raised on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. I have been a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1999, and have called Galveston my home since 2007.

   We have three different official speaking languages in Switzerland, and my menus reflect the cuisine associated with each language. I mean a Fusion between French, Italian and German Cuisine.

   I'm from Geneva, one of the most international cities in the world. There are 226 different nationalities in Geneva, and I have worked in many different classes and types of restaurants in the city.

   My love for cooking began at 7 years old being in the kitchen with my mom. I really began to learn cooking with a chef in a 3 Star restaurant, L 'Esquisse, where I apprenticed for 8 years. Then, I worked as a chef with my friend and mentor, Jacques Oswald, who gave me the opportunity to cook my own recipes for his popular restaurant. I have also traveled a bit and brought back with me culinary secrets from Egypt, Spain, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Greece, Thailand and Mexico.
